About us
With its location in the old part of Østerby and the unique historical setting, we want to bring the history and natural surroundings of the place into the hotel. Hotel Strandly is continuously renovated with exciting references to the hotel's period of origin.
On 1 January 2023, a new chapter began at the hotel from 1905 when Thomas Luca Andreasen and Kim Andreasen took over the hotel. An area he knows extremely well after having been at the helm as director of Brøndums Hotel for 7 years. Thomas Luca Andreasen and his partner Didde Klarskov manages the daily operation of the hotel.
Before the job at Brøndums Hotel, Thomas was from 2010 to 2015 director of the ice hockey club Odense Bulldogs on Funen.
"We want to preserve, continue and develop the locally rooted hotel, where nature, surroundings, history and the local environment must be taken into account. I have many ideas for improvements to the hotel, and the coming time must be spent on furnishing and renovating the hotel, so that the right atmosphere is created".

Restaurant
The restaurant has been respectfully renovated with exciting references to the hotel's period of origin. Paintings from that time are well preserved.
You can enjoy our delicious breakfast buffet as well as our tasty tapas with various specialities.
We have an exciting selection of exquisite wines that can be enjoyed for any occasion.
During the summer it is possible to enjoy the breakfast and tapas on the terrace.
Hotel Strandly
Hotel Strandly has 29 different furnished rooms, which has gone through a gentle renovation. All rooms appear spacious with private bath and toilet, blow-dryer, minibar, espresso coffee mashine, armchair, desk, and TV. Several of the rooms have their own balcony or terrace. There is also free WI-FI and free parking at the hotel.
COMMON ROOM FACILITIES
The communal facilities at Hotel Strandly include a lovely garden and terrace, where breakfast, snacks, cocktails and fine wines can be enjoyed in pleasant weather.
The authenticity and the relaxed atmosphere must be felt when guests come to Hotel Strandly. That is why hosting is crucial, and we do our best to accommodate the guests so that they feel at home and want to come again.
Refreshments are available for purchase at our reception. Both in the form of delicious coffee specialties, wine, beer, cocktails, and snacks. We are looking forward to welcome you.
NEIGHBOR TO THE PORT ENVIRONMENT
In line with industrialization and port expansions, Hotel Strandly is a neighbor to the port environment. For that reason, odors may be experienced at times.
